Gym memberships are costly! Sometimes we question our financial health before we even get motivated to head off to the gym. Do your gym workouts leave you satisfied? When you leave, do you get excited about getting back, challenging your recent achievements?

Training with the kettlebell is satisfying. Every time. Stretch and flex from head to toe, fire up muscles, burn calories, energise your core, enhance endurance, increase stamina. Combined, this encourages your well-being with every workout. Training with the kettlebell does not restrict your movement, it’s the exact opposite. Increased mobility, resistance to injury and better stability are unconditional benefits from kettlebell training.
Busy life? Kettlebell training can fit around you!
The Kettlebell is a cannonball with 2 horns and a handle. Cast iron of
varying weights, significant weight to more significant weight. You are
required to shift it.
Lift it, pull it, swing it, push it, squeeze it, crush it. You will likely
curse it, which you can develop into drive and determination.
It is a multi-gym in the grip of your hand.
Train with the kettlebell for…
As an individual you train with the kettlebell with a focused and dedicated passion. It’s just there, sitting at home, in the car, in the office, in the works van or maybe in the garage. You don’t have to travel to a gym, queue for equipment, or make excuses on why you can't go for your workout.
It's only one tool, only one area, and only you.
You can take it easy and go light or go determined and aggressive, or go
somewhere in between. Take it with you if you work away from home. Train
regularly for 25-35 minutes and feel brilliant!
Reap the benefits of training with a partner or group – have fun challenging each other, testing focus, mental attitude and your strength progression. Build your sport-specific drills into your kettlebell regime!
Kettlebells Aberdeen
Ray Wilson, IKFF Certified Kettlebell Trainer, Fitness and Movement Dynamics Specialist. Level 2.
I have been training with the kettlebell since spring 2008, after Rannoch Donald of Kettlebells Scotland took his kettlebell workshop to the Aberdeen Martial Arts Group.
In September 2008 I achieved certification in the IKFF under Steve Cotter and Ken Blackburn. I achieved Level 2 in September 2009.
My training has to be effective, functional and satisfying. Of course
it does. Why do it otherwise?
I’m not a professional; I am just an ordinary guy with positive training
and wellbeing goals. I feel the benefits of kettlebell training in my sporting
activities and general health.
This horned-cannonball can do it all – it just needs your dynamic input to shift it. I'm committed to exploring the options and applying kettlebell training to lots of applications, keeping it effective, functional and satisfying, of course!
In my experience from my instructors, three areas are vital in kettlebell
training.
That’s before I get my hands on a KB. You can expect to find those same three key areas developed in my workshops and classes.
I like to train intelligently. Be smart. I want to train tomorrow, so dedicating time in each KB session to mobility and bodyweight drills ensures I am ready to lift the KB and will prevent me from injury.
“If you don’t lose your breath, you don’t have to catch it”
My slogan is core to how I train because training with the kettlebell trains my heart and lungs to work and recover more efficiently. By training with reducing amounts of recovery time, I’m teaching my body find the best and most efficient way to recover fully so that I can carry on confidently with the next set, giving 100%.
I am continually feeling the benefits of this in my athletic activities today, and general lifestyle.
I have a blog which is updated regularly with announcements, news, and media.
